WISCONSINREPORT.COM (11/26/07) - The Governor Mitt Romney presidential campaign organization has announced the Romney for President Wisconsin Statewide Finance Steering Committee. The twelve individuals named are responsible for continuing to grow Governor Romney's grassroots support in Wisconsin and help raise the resources necessary to compete in the state. They join previously announced Wisconsin Romney for President supporters Congressman Tom Petri and Conservative Activist Camille Solberg.
"These Republican leaders understand the importance of having a President with experience outside of Washington, said Governor Romney.
We believe that only someone with experience from outside our nation's capitol can bring the new ideas, new energy and strong leadership we need to keep our nation's economy, military, and families strong for future generations, the Republican front runner in the GOP presidential primary race to find out who will be the 2008 Republican candidate.
Wisconsin Finance Steering Committee Member Terry Dittrich said, "Governor Romney has the experience, vision and values needed to lead our nation."
"America is facing a new generation of challenges and Governor Romney is the candidate who has the tested and proven leadership to succeed," Dittrich said.
"With his record of conservative leadership, Governor Romney is ready to meet these challenges and every Wisconsin voter can be proud to support him, said Dittrich.
